You don't need a mirror. No stage. No sexy outfit.
What you need is: you. And a moment to really feel your own body.
These three mini-exercises come from my Midnight Sensuality workshop. They help you to get out of your head and into your body - without any pressure to perform, without ‘make yourself beautiful’. Just you, your space, your energy.

✨ 1. As slowly as possible.
🕰️ Duration: 3 minutes
🎧 Music: London Grammar – Hey Now (Arty Remix) or Chelsea Wolfe – Flatlands
📍 Setting: At home. Semi-darkness. No audience. Just you.
Stand up. Loose in the knees. Breathe.
And now: move. But as slowly as possible. Slower than you think makes sense. As if you were moving through honey.
Feel how every movement takes on weight. How conscious you become. No goal. No mirror. Just presence.
🩶 2. Touch without destination.
🕰️ Duration: 5 minutes
🎧 Music: Portishead – Roads or Kælan Mikla – Nótt Eftir Nótt
📍 Setting: Quiet place. Mobile phone on airplane mode. It's your turn.
Sit down. Or stand. It doesn't matter.
Breathe deeply. Then start touching your skin - without aim. Over your arm. Your neck. Your stomach. Slowly. With the palm of your hand. With time.
Not because you want it to look nice. But because you're there. And feel yourself. Touch yourself like someone who wants to give something back.
🌑 3. Shadow beings and body awareness.
🕰️ Duration: 5–7 minutes
🎧 Music: Anna von Hausswolff – The Mysterious Vanishing of Electra
📍 Setting: Lamp. Wall. You are moving. Observe. Feel.
Position a light so that you can see your shadow.
And then: move. What does it show you, this shadow? What are you shying away from - what do you want to make bigger?
Perhaps there is a part of you that needs more space. Or one that can finally be quiet. You decide what becomes visible.
🖤 If that tickles something in you...
Then Midnight Sensuality might be your next step towards more body awareness.
On 17th of May in St. Gallen. Max. 5 participants.
No camera. No stage. No applause. Just you.
